It’s rich in minerals like zinc and iron and raw cacao contains prebiotic fiber. A 2020 review of cacao in the Journal Nutrients showed that the antioxidant polyphenols found in chocolate increased levels of anti-inflammatory bacteria- lactobacillus and bifidobacterium and reduce the inflammatory species Clostridium perfringes.

Most dairy chocolate does anything but honor mothers as it takes their milk from their babies to give to another species. Honor all mamas on the planet by choosing dairy free treats!
2 Vanilla Lava Yogurt or other unsweetened vanilla dairy free yogurt
1 Tbsp Raw Cacao Powder
1 Tbsp Carob Powder
½ Tbsp Vanilla Extract
½ can lite Coconut Milk
4 Pitted Dates
1 cup berries to top (Optional)
1. Blend raw cacao powder, vanilla extract, coconut milk, and dates together to make chocolate mousse.
2. Place in the refrigerator overnight or in the freezer for 1 hour.
3. Layer chocolate mousse and yogurt as desired.
4. Top with fresh fruit
5. Enjoy with your favorite mama(s)
